Ballinderry 3-7 1-9 Clontibret
Ballinderry completed an Ulster football double by adding the provincial minor club title to the senior crown won in November.
The Derry club defeated Clontibret 3-7 to 1-9 in the minor decider at St Paul’s in Belfast.
An 18th minute goal from Colm Devlin helped the Shamrocks to a 1-5 to 0-6 interval advantage after a tight first half.
After a tense third quarter, Devlin’s 46th minute penalty put Ballinderry firmly in control and captain Thomas Maynes’ 53rd minute goal killed off the Monaghan club’s challenge.
Dessie Mone scored a late consolation goal for Clontibret.
Ballinderry defeated Mayobridge to win AIB Ulster senior club title in November.
