Ballinderry held off a late Errigal Ciaran rally to win Sunday’s AIB Ulster Club Football semi-final replay. Peter Canavan struck an early Errigal goal but Ballinderry hit six points in reply although Damien McDermott goal’s helped level matters by the break.

Errigal Ciaran captain Peter Canavan equalised with the last kick of the game in Sunday’s Ulster club football semi-final at Casement Park. The Tyrone side had the first-half wind advantage but Ballinderry were more dangerous in attack as the teams went in 0-5 to 0-5 at the break.

Ballinderry hammered the Down champions at Maghera on Sunday to set up an Ulster club football semi-final showdown with Errigal Ciaran. The Derry side led 0-4 to 0-1 at the break with Mayobridge down to 14 men after Brendan Grant was red-carded following an off-the-ball clash.
