At Emmet Park Conleith Gilligan was the thorn in the side of the home team, as Ballinderry won 0-14 to 0-12. In the first half it was a highly entertaining game with plenty of open football. In the second half, despite the best efforts of Patsy Bradley, Ballinderry dominated and at one stage led by six points, before the Emmet’s stages a comeback. However it was too little too late.
