Enda Muldoon has been given a great boost before Derry’s All-Ireland Quarter-Final with Dublin on Saturday, he has been selected as Tennent’s Ulster GAA Writers’ player of the month. Enda has played a major part in Derry’s success to Croke Park this year, and after a poor Derry performance against Monaghan, he helped them to incredible victories over Armagh, Mayo and Laois

“The whole team played very well in those games and I am lucky to be selected the winner of the Merit Award. I’m delighted, of course, and it gives me a great lift going into Croke Park to face Dublin,” says Enda

Enda had to fight off challenges from Sean Cavanagh, Conor Gormley and Vincent Corry to pick up the award. This is the second time he has won the award, he was awarded it in October 2002 when playing for the Shamrocks in the Ulster Club.

For his Efforts in winning the award, Enda has received a Tennent’s Ireland voucher, an engraved Belleek China vase, training gear from Pro*Star Sports and specially designed silver cuff links from Omeath Jeweller Gareth Mallon.

The presentation was made at a function in the Ulster Brewery by Ciarán McAlinden, Regional Controller, Tennent’s Ireland.
